Low inventory suggests that homes are not sitting on the market for very long. That is the market we are in. Low inventory continues in Boca Raton with some houses getting multiple offers coming in.
I wouldn't expect home prices to run up quite as fast as they did back in 2006 as banks have gotten a lot stricter on lending guidelines and are no longer giving a loan to anyone with a pulse. But, low inventoy and rising mortgage rates, which seem to be coming, is one indicator that prices will continue to rise.
We saw a mixed bag in Boca Raton FL in September. Closed sales of single family homes remianed virtually unchanged while condos, villas and townhomes showed an increase in the price of closed sales over the prior month.

In September 2017, the average list price for single family homes in Boca Raton FL was $ 585,829. The list price per square foot for single family homes in Boca Raton was $ 229. The average list price as well as average list price per square foot remained virtually the same this month as last.
In September 2017, the average sold price for single family homes in Boca Raton was $ 539,604 with an average price per square foot of $ 215. The average sold price, as well as average sold price per square foot, decreased slightly this month over last Average days on market was 86.
In September 2017, the average list price for condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton FL was $ 306,686. The list price per square foot for condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton was $ 18. Average list price increased as well as price per square foot increased this month over last.
