Reataurants Boca Raton/Delray Beach
Some restaurants you may want to consider when in the Boca Raton/Delray Beach area:
Monet Cafe, located at 7040 West Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton, is a small French bistro serving breakfast and lunch only. This is my favorite place for lunch! The food is made fresh daily. They have a wonderful menu of salads, sandwiches on your choice of croissants or baguettes served with a side salad, crepes, soups and hot sandwiches including Croques Monsieur, which is to die for.
Lucille's Bad to the Bone BBQ, located at 3011 Yamato Road in Boca Raton, is a great place to bring the kids. They serve up heaping platters of bbq ribs, chicken and pork, along with burgers, wraps, salads and more.
Kyojin Buffet, located at 21073 Powerline Road in Boca Raton is a Japanese Seafood Buffet. They offer sushi, sashimi, Japanese salads, seafood, Hibachi grill, Chinese food, soups and a dessert bar. This is also a good place for kids. They menu varies from lunch to dinner and from weekdays to weekends. It is an all-inclusive buffet.
Boston's on the Beach located at 40 South Ocean Boulevard in Delray Beach is perfect for watching the waves roll in. They offer sandwiches, salads, burgers, wings, chicken, etc. They have live music and free valet parking. This is true Florida at the beach!
Too Jays located in several locations around Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach is a chain of delis. Great for a bowl of matzoh ball soup or a pastrami sandwich! They have an extensive menu of salads, sandwiches, omelettes, even full dinners. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Gary Woo Asian Bistro, 3400 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton has wonderful Chinese food. A little pricey, but excellent.
Cheesecake Factory is an old standard that is always popular. Located at 5530 Glades Road, they have a very comprehensive menu offereing everything from burgers to salads to full dinners and, of course, cheesecake.
Seasons 52 on Glades Road at 2300 NW Executive Center Drive is known for their flatbreads and for keeping every dish under 450 calories. They manage to do it and the food tastes great! Their desserts are called "mini indulgences." They're smaller portions of the real thing and they're to die for! The pecan pie is my favorite!
Villa Rosano located 9858 Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton is authentic Italian. On a recent trip there, I had their Sunday sauce over pasta. It was great. This is a restaurant that will accomodate kids as well.
Old Calypso, 900 East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, has a Caribbean mixed with New Orleans flair to its food. Boat docking, live music and valet parking available. Sunday brunches are great!
